Morning Musume (モーニング娘。)’s Brainstorming / Kimi Sae Ireba Nani mo Iranai (ブレインストーミング/君さえ居れば何も要らない) took the top spot last week, managing just under the gold certification with 94,037 copies sold.

At #4, the second week of sales for Fukuyama Masaharu-san’s “Tanjoubi niwa Masshiro na Yuri wo/Get the Groove” saw a decent 16,920 copies sold, bringing its total to 125,831.

No Name’s “Kono Namida wo Kimi ni Sasagu” took #10 by selling a strong 8,277 copies  in its second week for a total of 56,997.

In its eighth week, “Mistake!/Battery” from SMAP got #14, popping up partly in the vacuum of other major releases, and now boasts a total of 208,188.

A bunch of heavyweights were clustered from #23 to #28.

Taking #23, HKT48’s “Suki! Suki! Skip!” reached a five-week total of 272,125.

EXILE’s “EXILE PRIDE  ~Konna Sekai wo Aisuru Tame~” continued on its natural trajectory based on its second week sales, selling an additional 3,535 to take #24, bringing its three-week total to 575,630.

“Kimi ni Na wa Kibou” from Nogizaka46 sold 3,389 in its sixth week for a total of 294,068.

Arashi‘s “Calling/Breathless” took #26, adding 3,362 to its total to bring it to 867,993 after seven weeks.

At #27, “Ki•Su•U•Ma•I ~KISS YOUR MIND~ /S.O.S (Smile On Smile)” from Kis-My-Ft2 remains shy of platinum with a four-week total of 241,962. Will it be able to pass 250k before dropping below 30?

Perhaps a week short of 100k, Takahashi Minami-san’s “Jane Doe” added 3,229 in its third week for a total of 97,713.

If the singles looked sleepy, the album side was much, much worse.

E-girls scored the top spot, with “Lesson 1” selling 57,337 copies.

Funky Monkey Babys‘ “LAST BEST” held in at #3 in its fourth week, with a strong 23,561 copies sold to bring its total to 283,078.

The last album of note was Momoiro Clover Z‘s “5th Dimension”, which took #4 by adding 19,988, bringing its two-week total to 200,270.
